\(\Gamma\)-weak local uniform rotundness in Banach spaces (Q1293626)

The aim of this paper is to study the concept of \(\Gamma\)-weak local uniform rotundness in Banach spaces in order to extend some previous results concerning the usual weak local uniform rotundness of Banach spaces and their conjugates. This concept was introduced by the author by replacing the usual weak (and weak-\(^*\)) convergence of the sequences from the unit sphere by the so-called \(\Gamma\)-weak (and weak-\(^*\)) convergence with respect to a certain subset \(\Gamma\) of the space (respectively of its conjugate).
