Let \(A,B\) be \(n\times n\) complex matrices, \(B=A+E\). The group inverse of~\(A\) (i.e., Drazin's inverse for matrices with index~1) is denoted by \(A^{\#}\). The author presents upper bounds for \(\| B^{\#}\| \), \(\| BB^{\#}\| \), \(\| B^{\#}-A^{\#}\| \), etc., and also a lower bound for \(\| B^{\#}\| \); \(\| \cdot\| \) is the spectral norm.
