The way-below relation of function spaces over semantic domains (Q1295215)

In this paper the authors give varied explicit, previously unavailable, characterizations of the approximation or way-below relation \(f\ll g\) on function spaces of continuous functions from locally compact topological spaces into bounded complete continuous domains. These characterizations typically involve the ability to interpolate steplike functions between the two given functions \(f\) and \(g\). The authors also extend their results to \(L\)-domains.
