AS-Cohen-Macaulay algebras are non-commutative graded analogues of commutative local Cohen-Macaulay rings. Some central properties of commutative Cohen-Macaulay rings extend to AS-Cohen-Macaulay algebras, e.g. a characterization for the existence of a balanced dualizing complex, characterizations of AS-Cohen-Macaulay algebras by means of grade and GK-dimension in some particular case, etc.
