On dense subspaces of generalized ordered spaces (Q1296271)

The authors study four properties related to the existence of a dense metrizable subspace of a generalized ordered (GO) space. They give new characterizations of GO-spaces that have dense metrizable subspaces and investigate which GO-spaces can be embedded in GO-spaces with one of these properties. The properties are relevant to the Souslin problem, since cellularity and density coincide in a GO-space with any of these properties.
