A note on codimension-1 foliations (Q1296433)

Let \({\mathcal F}\) be a cooriented codimension-1 foliation of a manifold \(M\) and \(\gamma\) a simple closed curve tangent to \({\mathcal F}\). Let \(h\) be the holonomy of \(\gamma\). The author constructs a parametrization of a neighborhood of \(\gamma\) in which \({\mathcal F}\) is defined by a differential 1-form \(\omega\) whose coefficients satisfy conditions closely related to the properties of \(h\).
