The collineation groups of generalized twisted field planes (Q1297643)

This paper discusses certain aspects of generalized twisted field planes. Autotopisms are investigated; in particular the authors consider the case where the autotopism group acts transitively on the nonvertex points of one or more sides of the autotopism triangle. Furthermore, isotopisms of generalized twisted fields are studied. Necessary and sufficient conditions are given as to when a generalized twisted field plane is self-dual or contains a polarity. These results can be used to improve some results concerning semifield planes.
