The following inequalities are proved: For a \(p\)-hyponormal operator \(T\) (i.e., \((T^*T)^p\geq (TT^*)^p\) for some \(p\) such that \(0< p\leq 1\)), the inequalities \((T^{*n}T^n)^{{p\over n}}\geq (T^*T)^p\geq (TT^*)^p\geq (T^nT^{*n})^{{p\over n}}\) hold for all positive integers \(n\).
