The software system MANET is developed for interactive visual analysis of statistical data. It provides linked plots of different kinds (histograms, mosaic plots, box-whiskers plots, scatterplots, geographic maps, and so on). A subset selected at one plot is highlighted at all other linked with it. The method of selection and linkage (brushing) is described in this article with real data examples.
