Continuing the first part of his paper [Int. Math. Res. Not. 1997, 3, 113-125 (1997; Zbl 0873.34011)], the author solves the inverse problem of recovering the periodic potential \(q\in L^2\) in Hill's operator \(Tu(x)=-u''(x) +q(x)u(x)\) from certain normalizing sequences involving the gaps in the continuous spectrum of \(T\).
