Absolute continuity of the periodic magnetic Schrödinger operator (Q1298096)

The author proves that the spectrum of the periodic electro-magnetic Schrödinger operator on \({\mathbb R}^d\) (\(d\geq 1)\) is absolutely continuous. Adapting an idea of L. E. Thomas, the proof relies on an estimate on the Floquet-resolvent of the operator when letting the quasi-momentum become complex. However, the originality lies on the fact that here one needs to follow some specific direction in the complex.
