The authors consider the continuous-time infinite horizon \(H^{\infty }\) filtering problem under the assumption that the measurements and the information processing are performed by digital hardware. They construct a suboptimal filter in the form of a finite-dimensional discrete-time filter both for known and unknown initial conditions.
