The author considers two trapezoidal product type integration methods, one of which fits into the general framework of the so-called piecewise polynomial product integration rules. The other trapezoidal method can be obtained from the first one or can be deduced by a change of variable. Euler-Maclaurin type asymptotic expansions are obtained with only even powers. Numerical examples are given in order to show the effectiveness of this methods, and a comparison with rules of similar characteristics is also made.
