This interesting paper investigates three families of boundary integral equations for 2-D biharmonic boundary value problems. The investigation is carried out for circular boundaries and focused on non-uniqueness of solutions for one or more radii. Alternative supplementary conditions, to overcome this lack of uniqueness, are proposed. A complete investigation of the state-of-art on the subject is included and important information on the generalizations of results to other boundary geometries are also found.
