The authors continue the studies of \textit{W. Gautschi} [Numer. Math. 48, 369-382 (1986; Zbl 0613.65014)] and \textit{H.-J. Fischer} [Z. Anal. Anwend. 15, No. 1, 223-244 (1996; Zbl 0840.42018)] on the sensitivity of the underlying nonlinear maps with regard to perturbations in the modified moments using Chebyshev polynomials. Three numerical examples are included.
