The system considered is a slab with polynomial temperature dependence of its thermal conductivity and specific heat. A general network model is proposed, which is valid for any polynomial degree of these thermal properties, including initial and boundary conditions. The simulated field of temperatures and the instantaneous heat flows for different polynomial dependences are obtained. The results are compared with those obtained by other methods for a particular case.
