The articles of mathematical interest will be reviewed individually. CHEP '97 focussed on the four important questions: Internet computing and collaborative work issues; the emergence of object technology in HEP; commodity and special purpose computing platforms; computing models and infrastructure of HEP institutes and experiments. The complete conference material, including audios and video sequences from the presentations, has been assembled into a CD ROM. It has been distributed to the participants and can be visited on the World Wide Web at \url{http://www.ifh.de/CHEP97}. Copies may be obtained from the organizers on basis of availability.
