The paper is devoted to the discussion of Gödel's historical and metaphysical interests in Leibniz, Kant and Husserl. It is argued that Gödel's principal metamathematical results identified the following four exemplary classes of metalogical and metaphysical phenomena: semantic plurality, semantic under-determination, semantic inexpressibility and semantic relativity. A preliminary overview of some historical analogies for these metalogical lines of argument is given as well.
