Degree of approximation of functions associated with Hardy-Littlewood series in the generalized Hölder metric (Q1301549)

There are considered the Hardy-Littlewood (H-L) series of \(f\in L^p\) \((p\geq 1)\) studied by \textit{R. Mohanty} [J. Orissa Math. Soc. 12-15, 237-240 (1993-1996)] [see also \textit{G. H. Hardy} and \textit{J. E. Littlewood}, Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. (2) 24, 211-246 (1925; JFM 51.0222.03)]. The approximation theorem for the matrix means of the modificated H-L series in \(L^p\)-Hölder metric is proved.
