Algebraic approximants and the numerical solution of parabolic equations (Q1301950)

The purpose of this paper is to develop a formalism which allows the straightforward derivation of finite difference schemes which involves several prior times from general approximation. A methodology is developed with sound mathematical derivation. Finally, theorems and experimentations are presented for the analysis which shows interesting results.
