In this worth reading paper some results of \textit{N. C. Yannelis} and \textit{N. D. Prabhakar} [J. Math. Econ. 12, 233-245 (1983; Zbl 0536.90019)] about existence of equilibrium points are extended especially with regard to the underlined spaces. In particular Ky Fan's lemma can be used for topological spaces, which are not necessarily Hausdorff. At the same time the paper contains an overview on existing existence theorems for equilibria of abstract economies with proofs.
