An optimization of separation processes at solid layer crystallization on a belt is investigated both theoretically and experimentally. We propose a method of choosing an optimal crystal growth rate, productivity, belt speed, belt slope, and feed mass rate. An existence of nonlinear crystal profile is shown numerically for countercurrent scheme of crystallization. We also investigate the influence of technological and physical parameters on the optimality of a crystal surface and its thermal and morphological instability.
