Let \(\sigma \) be a sequence of \(r\) elements \({\mathbb Z}_k\). The authors show that either \(0\) is a sum of some \(k\)-subsequence of \(\sigma \) or there are \(r-k+1\) distinct \(k\)-subsequence sums.
