The sign-real spectral radius was introduced by the author [ibid. 266, 1-42 (1997; Zbl 0901.15002)] as the generalization of the Perron root. In this paper, the author gives the bound on the ratio of the sign-real spectral radius and the maximum geometric mean of a cycle product of a given matrix.
