The author constructs a nonlinear difference scheme in the time variable for the Hamiltonian equation \(q=\nabla_ x H\), \(p=-\nabla_ x H+ f(t,q,p)\) with usual initial conditions. Under certain conditions he proves that the algebraic system underlying the difference scheme is uniquely solvable and that the discrete solution converges to the exact one.
