The author considers second kind Fredholm integral equations on a finite interval with weakly singular kernels (both logarithmic and algebraic). He applies the Brakhage iterative technique coupled with product integration using quadratic interpolation at equally spaced nodes. The paper discusses the numerical implementation of this method and presents a variety of numerical examples showing a considerable improvement of the original product integration solutions.
