This paper addresses the subject of efficient boundary element implementations on modern parallel computing machines. The Poisson equation comprising two subregions is used as a test problem and the solution to the linear system of equations is studied with two alternative algorithms: Gaussian elimination with partial pivoting and Householder transformation.
