This paper discusses intense explosions with cylindrical or plane symmetry in a perfect inviscid gas at rest. The energy is added by a power law of time, which leads to self-similarity. The system of partial differential equations with two variables is expressed in intrinsic coordinates as a function of a Lagrangian variable and the curvilinear abscissa on the paths. An original computation method solves two equations on a dual characteristic of the problem and the other two by a Telenin method.
