A new look of fuzzy connectives is suggested. Under some conditions, the usual properties of fuzzy implications are characterized by corresponding properties of conjunctions. The result leads in a natural way to the definition of a weak \(t\)-norm. Repesentation theorems for weak \(t\)-norms and strict negation are also obtained.
