A magneto-elastic boundary value problem is considered for a half-space which is attenuated by a curvilinear cavity cut. The problem reduces to a singular integral equation. Results of calculations are presented which characterize the dependence of the stress intensity factor on the configuration of the cut, the strength of the applied magnetic field and the excitation frequency.
