A form of instability in a liquid containing bubbles of soluble gas, caused by the unbalanced supply of energy to the two-phase medium as a result of the redissolving of the gas atoms in the liquid, is investigated. The presence of a phase transition due to the gas atoms being redissolved in the carrier medium leads to the appearance of essentially new effects in the viscous liquid: undamped sound waves, anomalies in the phase velocity of the sound and low-frequency instabilities.
