The expressions for the entropy and the production of entropy in the general case of a mixture of perfect gases in non-equilibrium chemical and internal modes, including different translational temperatures, are first given. The results obtained are then applied to the calculation of the entropy evolution along quasi-one-dimensional high temperature flows of air through two different hyperenthalpic nozzles.
