The authors study the family of positive definite matrices of the form \((e^{tB/2} e^{tA} e^{tB/2})^{1/t}\) for \(t>0\), where \(A\) and \(B\) are Hermitian matrices. In particular, they show that the family converges to a limit as \(t \to \infty\).
