Let \(D\) be the dihedral group of order 8, and let \(BD\) be its classifying space. The author computes the Margolis homology of \(D\); that is to say, the author computes the homology of \[ Q_ n: H^*(BD; \mathbb{Z}/2) \to H^*(BD; \mathbb{Z}/2), \] where the \(Q_ n\) are the Milnor derivations in the Steenrod algebra. The author also computes the Morava \(K\)-theory of \(BD\).
