    The authors study the two-dimensional stressed state in a cross-section of a rotating cylinder in the presence of thermal disturbances. The stress equations are used in the approximation of the uncoupled theory of thermoelasticity. The asymptotic expansion of solution is determined by the method of composite expansions.
