Free vibration of laminated conical shells including transverse shear deformation (Q1317499)

The equilibrium equations for free vibration of composite laminated conical shells including the transverse shear deformation and the extension-bending coupling are formulated in terms of the five displacements using a particularly convenient coordinate system. The solutions for these five displacements are obtained, in the form of a power series, from the five governing equations, and the convergence condition for the solutions is also determined.
