The paper is concerned with techniques for evaluating (approximate) solutions of certain elliptic boundary value problems given in an integral representation, with a kernel associated with Green's function for some surrounding rectangle, and with densities obtained by a boundary element method. To avoid the usage of quadrature formulas, the author proposes to rewrite the problem as an appropriate boundary value problem and to use fast solvers for this. An error estimate of order \(h^ 2\) in the \(W^ 2_ 2\)-norm is proven.
