The author fuzzificates some notions from algebraic geometry. He discusses fuzzy topological spaces, pseudo-metrics and Cauchy sequences and introduces fuzzy subfields and fuzzy coefficient fields of fuzzy subrings. Conditions are given for a fuzzy subring of a commutative ring with unit to have a fuzzy coefficient field with respect to a fuzzy ideal. A number of fundamental facts about such objects are proved.
