The asymptotic completeness of a class of three-body systems with potentials decreasing at infinity like \(| x|^{-\mu}\), where \(\mu > 1/2\), is studied. Under specific hypothesis, it is shown that the Hamiltonian of the system is asymptotically complete. The results presented extend some previous results for potentials with different behavior at infinity.
