A series of papers by the authors is devoted to the examination of finite groups characterized by properties of fuzzy subgroups [cf. e.g.: \textit{M. Asaad}, ibid. 39, 323-328 (1991; Zbl 0718.20036); \textit{S. Abou-Zaid}, ibid. 43, 235-241 (1991; Zbl 0755.20019); \textit{M. Asaad, S. Abou-Zaid}, ibid. 56, 375-377 (1993; Zbl 0803.20058)]. This note characterizes finite Abelian groups and finite nilpotent groups by suitable properties of their fuzzy subgroups.
