Oscillation and nonoscillation criteria are proved for classes of fully nonlinear differential equations of second order in a semi-infinite real interval. In particular, sufficient conditions on functions \(f,g,h,j,p,q,r\) are found for all solutions \(y(t)\) of the equation \[ [r(t) f(y) g(y')]' + p(t) h(t,y,y')y' = q(t) j(y) \] to be oscillatory in an interval \((t_ 0, \infty)\).
