The author proves the existence of certain orthogonal multiplications \(\mathbb{R}^ 2 \times \mathbb{R}^ n \to \mathbb{R}^ r\) (\(r\) even), and then uses them to construct full quadratic eigenmaps between certain spheres. For instance, \(S^ 5 \to S^ n\) for \(n = 10,11,12,14\).
