The problem of controlling systems with incomplete information about them is currently a focus of attention in control theory. An incompletely defined object or an object subject to uncertain perturbations may be treated as a family of systems defined by the set of parameters for the object, and by the set of perturbations. Using a block diagram, criteria for stability in the frequency domain, and absolute optimal systems, this paper presents a systematic method for synthesizing discrete robust optimal control systems.
