If \(T\) is a positive operator on a Banach lattice, then it is a natural question which properties of \(T\) are inherited by the positive operators dominated by \(T\). In the present paper we discuss the inheritance of `asymptotic properties' like uniform ergodicity, uniform stability and uniform asymptotic periodicity for positive operators and strongly continuous semigroups of positive operators.
