A relaxation procedure for solving linear algebraic systems originated from the domain decomposition technique is considered. Two relaxation parameters are introduced and optimized. Numerical experiments show influence of these relaxation parameters to both the convergence of the relaxation procedure and the efficiency of the related Neumann-Neumann preconditioner.
