The polarization set for vector-valued distributions is a refinement of the wave front set. Based on the plenty result on the propagation of the wave front set of solutions for partial differential equations the author studies the propagation of the polarization set for a semilinear system of real principal type. The result is described in Sobolev space \(H^ s\). It gives a better understanding on phenomena of singularity propagation of solutions to differential systems.
