The title problem has been investigated by using a transposition theorem and cubic spline collocation numerical method. Along with transient Nusselt number and skin friction coefficient at the wavy surface, representative transient velocity and temperature profiles are presented. Comparisons between a Newtonian fluid and a micropolar fluid are discussed.
