The result under review is inspired by a paper of \textit{M. F. Atiyah} and \textit{J. A. Todd} [Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 56, 342-353 (1960; Zbl 0109.16102)] in which the smallest positive integer \(m_k\) such that \((\log (1 + x)/x)^{M_k} \in \mathbb{Z} [[x]]\) (mod \(x^{k + 1})\) is found. Two invariants \(d_k\) and \(e_k\) are used for rational power series with constant term \(\pm 1\).
