The authors construct a Steiner system \(S(5,6,108)\) stabilized by PSL(2,107). This is the very first example of a Steiner system with such parameters and one of the few known ones with \((t,k)= (5,6)\). A collection of generators for 66 6-blocks orbits is given which under the action of the mentioned group provide all blocks of the Steiner system. The other known Steiner systems with \(t= 5\) are briefly surveyed.
