This is a note on Black Mountain College (in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina) and on the work of Max Dehn in it. The College was founded in 1933 and existed till 1956. It was an interesting experiment in higher education. Max Dehn was active in the College from 1944 till 1952.
